A few basic guidelines that all students will be expected to follow to help create a God honoring atmosphere where the Spirit can work. Attitude: all participants are expected to show appropriate respect for youth staff, volunteers, other students, and the facilities. A negative attitude or refusal to cooperate will be grounds for dismissal from the weekend. Attendance: all students are required to attend all teaching sessions and group activites. Cell Phones: cell phones are permitted at the retreat but we do ask students to minimize the usage of their phones to focus on their relationship with God and their brothers and sisters in Christ who are there. The viewing and/or sharing of inappropriate videos, songs, and/or images is prohibited. Students may be asked to turn in their phone if unable to abide by this guideline. Couples: the Winter Retreat is a time to focus on your relationship with God and your brothers and sisters in Christ from MCF. Couples are asked not to be exclusive with their time and to refrain from displays of physical affection. Dress: in order to create a holy atmosphere students are asked to dress modestly and appropriately. Staff may discreetly ask a student to change if they are wearing something deemed inappropriate or that draws too much attention to the physical body. Prohibited items: fireworks, firearms, alcohol, tobacco, pornography, illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia, gambling, and weapons of any kind are prohibited at the Winter Retreat. Sleeping dorms: all students are not permitted to leave the cabin after lights out for the evening. Girls are not permitted in the guys sleeping dorm & guys are not permitted in the girls sleeping dorm.

As a parent/legal guardian of the student(s) listed on this registration form, I have reviewed the information about the Winter Retreat, and give permission for the subject(s) of this release to be involved in the overall activities. I/We have reviewed the guidelines of the activities and agree that the subject(s) of this release will abide by them. I/We also acknowledge that if the subject(s) of the release has to return home early for discipline violations, it will be at my/our expense. I/We understand all reasonable safety precautions will be taken at all times by Myerstown Christian Fellowship and its agents during the events and activities. I/We authorize any treatment by an accredited hospital and/or physician deemed necessary for the subject(s) of the release in case of an emergency. I/We understand the possibility of unforeseen hazards and know the inherent possibility of risk. I/We agree not to hold Myerstown Christian Fellowship, its leaders, employees, and volunteer staff liable for damages, losses, diseases, or injuries incurred by the subject(s) of this form.
